A Celtic Christmas Kitchen Party!
Community, Joy, and a Record-Breaking Year
What a joyful, heart-full season this has been! The 2025 Christmas in the Kitchen fundraiser reached new heights, and I’m still smiling thinking about it all.
One of my favorite moments was being at the toy giveaway and Christmas party at Annie Malone Children and Family Services, celebrating with the community alongside Santa and CEO Keisha Lee – pure joy all around. (You’ll see plenty of photos here capturing just how special the day was!)
Because of the incredible generosity of so many friends, the churches and spiritual centers I sing at, and the loyal patrons of Christmas in the Kitchen, we were able to make a record-breaking impact:
$22,048.63 donated to Annie Malone Children & Family Services
$2,000 donated to The Leadership School of Normandy
Well over 300 toys collected, with the majority going to Annie Malone’s
We were also honored to support children at The Leadership School of Normandy with toys in addition to the financial donation. And our reach didn’t stop there – thanks to Sheila Burton and Join Hands ESL, we were able to help children in Brooklyn, IL. as well.
A very special thank-you goes to my niece, Stephanie Laws, who organized a toy drive on the east side (in Illinois), further expanding the love and support we could offer. Seeing our reach grow like this truly fills my heart.
This is what Christmas in the Kitchen is all about – community, generosity, and showing up for children and families in meaningful ways. Thank you to everyone who gave, helped, sang, donated, collected toys, and shared this mission. I am so grateful… and I’m loving that our reach is expanding.

In addition to supporting children and families in need, Christmas in the Kitchen is proud to share a portion of the 2025 proceeds with The Leadership School – the first free public charter school in Saint Louis County – offering a dynamic academic curriculum alongside enriching cultural experiences. This inspiring institution is dedicated to empowering little leaders with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.
Immense thanks to our dedicated and generous sponsors
